Now I had to find out who was my target audience in order to this I have created a questionnaire on QuestionPro.

I have concluded my questionnaire results with an audience profile. This shows who is my target audience          and what they like.

Research: Annotation of Existing Magazines

Preliminary Task

Before we started the construction of our music magazine we had to produce a preliminary task. This because it would of helped us to learn the basic conventions and through this process. The task was to create a school magazine which appealed at students, teachers, and parents. This task was worth 25% of our grade and it would help us to look back and see the way which our preliminary task is different from the music magazine. I have constructed my school magazine using MicrosoftPublisher and I have used basic events in order to create my feature stories. The colour scheme came from Rooks Heath’s logo. 

The Brief

 

In order to complete my media studies project, I had to collect some primary data. I had to produce a survey, in order to understand my audience’s tastes and aspirations, which I could use them in magazine to attract my specific target audience. Also I had to annotate various examples of existing text; this made me understand how I could make my magazine different/unique from the other magazines already out there. Furthermore I had to construct my music magazine and answer seven questions.
